Sign Up NowDating apps were supposed to make meeting people easier. Instead, they gave us endless swiping of superficial profiles and weeks' worth of texting with people we'll never meet. People now feel lonelier than ever, trapped on apps that reward attention, not connection.
We built Project Mistletoe because real connection doesn't happen on a screen. It happens between people who cross paths in the real world — at a café, on a walk, in line at the grocery store. But cultural shifts have made those moments more difficult. Approaching someone can feel inappropriate; being approached can feel unsafe.
Project Mistletoe flips the script on modern dating tech. It uses technology to bring romance back into the real world with safety, authenticity, and consent. You don't have to pretend or compete. You just check in through the site while you're out living your life, and if there's someone nearby who's likely compatible with you, you'll get notified. You just show up as yourself, in your real life, in the places where you spend time, and the system introduces you to people who might actually fit.
The goal isn't to make dating more addictive. It's to make it work again — in a way that feels natural, safe, and maybe even fun.
Tell us about yourself and what you're looking for in a partner. Your answers are private — only our AI sees them. There are no viewable profiles, so you can be honest and authentic.
Use your unique link to check-in with your location when you're in a place where you'd be willing to meet someone special, like a café, bar, park, or event.
If someone compatible is nearby, you'll both get a text message. If you want, you can choose to always be notified first: If you say no to a match, the other person will never even know.
If you both say yes to the match, we'll open an direct connection so you can text each other anonymously to arrange to meet up, as in, "I'm in the lobby in a green sweater."
No profiles. No swiping. No endless texting. Just real potential partners where you already spend your time.
